RE>Rejected posting to* 6/12/97 This is getting REALLY assinine and I'm getting VERY ticked off now! Is there a HUMAN person who will put this to bed? How in the world does the original address to nyhist-l look like a "listserv" command? Please note that LISTSERV commands must ALWAYS be sent to the LISTSERV address; if it was indeed a command you were attempting to issue, please send it again to [log in to unmask] for execution. Otherwise, please accept our apologies and try to rewrite the message with a slightly different wording - for instance, change the first word of the message, enclose it in quotation marks, insert a line of dashes at the beginning of your message, etc. ------------------------ Rejected message (32 lines) -------------------------- Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]> Received: from mbunix.mitre.org by unix10 (SMI-8.6/SMI-SVR4) id LAA20126; Thu, 12 Jun 1997 11:21:09 -0400 Received: from qmgate.mitre.org (qmgate.mitre.org [129.83.100.120]) by mbunix.mitre.org (8.8.5/8.8.5/mitre.0) with SMTP id LAA07847 for <[log in to unmask]>; Thu, 12 Jun 1997 11:22:39 -0400 (EDT) Message-ID: <[log in to unmask]> Date: 12 Jun 1997 11:29:09 -0500 From: "Richard Haycook" <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Rq UNSUB instructions To: "Hist NY" <[log in to unmask]> X-Mailer: Mail*Link SMTP-QM 3.0.2 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"; Name="Message Body" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable content-length: 680 Rq UNSUB instructions = 6/12/97 This morning I've tried 6 times to unsub from this list, using the = instructions sent in my "welcome message" and also using the listserv = address.
